Fairfield Farmers’ Market

Tagged: , , , , ,

What I love about visiting markets are the connections and community that comes with each one. United by the common love of home-grown / home-made, it brings people together and unites them. Fairfield Farmers’ Market is a great example of this.

Set amongst the grounds of Fairfield Primary School, this market has a great following from locals as well as those coming from nearby suburbs. Donation goes towards projects at the School.

Take the time to chat to the stallholders and ask about their products and produce. They are eager to share their stories and journey.

How magical are the colours in this picture below? I can feel a cook-up coming on.

As always I’d recommend you bring your own bag or trolley along so plastic bags don’t have to be used. Also try to bring smaller notes.
