This Op Shop is a new one for me. I found it by chance and that’s because it’s only open two days a week. The balloons were out with a small sign and so thought I’d turn in and see what was going on. Set amongst the grounds of the Crossover Church and what appears to be an old crèche, it’s a delightful setting for an Op Shop and certainly should get more passing traffic than it does.
There is a lot of bric-a-brac in this Op Shop as well as dolls. And I mean that type that people make at home, paint, dress etc. Literally, there was a whole room with dolls in them. Picture below.
This table pictured right – was full of cute little ornaments and treasure. Good place to bring young ones with a dollar or two and ask them to choose something they’d like or themselves or to give to others.
It’s a little bit junky and a little bit funky. It’s staffed by volunteers and only open two days a week. The Church has two members so this is a very small Op Shop but there are bargains to be had. All money goes back into the running of the Church.
