Vinnies Op Shop – Queenscliff

Tagged: , , , , , , , , , , ,

There is something about these large chain Op Shops that don’t work for me and that’s probably why I rarely review them. I visited this one in Queenscliff on the day of a music festival. It was packed with bargain hunters trolling through racks and shelves for treasure. But it had no community feel or something special. I’m used to funky little places that have a good vibe – this felt like a race to find something worthwhile.

The staff are lovely and there certainly is a lot of stock – too much for my liking. I did like the tennis balls on the end of the racks to protect people from injuring themselves – nice touch!

There are other Op Shops in town which I will review and you can read about in the future plus there are a few secondhand stores that have interesting treasure.
