Such a shame that this store is moving this month but I had to write it up because it’s been part of the area for a while and has a loyal following. If you are like a magpie and collect odds and sods, then this is the place for you.
Owner Meg Searls opened this shop and filled it to the brim with her own range of collectables, kitschy wares, vintage clothing, colourful kitchenwares, records, jewellery and more.
Meg has a keen eye for unique items and no doubt has spent many hours trolling through Op Shops, garage sales, trash and treasure markets and peeking at other vintage shops. Her collection of clothing is something quite to behold with retro patterns, bright skirts, chunky fur-lined coats, scarves and more.
The way items are displayed gives people like me with little imagination how pieces can go together. I soooo love this and was immediately reminded of the TV series Mad Men.
With so many choices, you’ll head will go into overdrive so take your time, chat to Meg and if you’re after anything in particular, just ask as she knows every single piece of stock in her shop.

Note that Meg is setting up a store in the town of Foster and she will also have a permanent stall at the Kongwak Market – one of my faves.
