You can’t miss this place because it’s so big and the front garden is full of vegetables, bike rims and signs that direct you where to go within the complex.
This is a Church and has a front and rear section. The front houses the clothing and odds and sods whereas the rear has the kitchen ware, furniture, books, records and so on. It’s a large space and plenty to scrounge through.
The clothing section is well organised with cute mannequins such as below looking fabulous and my daughter almost bought this outfit because of the way it was displayed.
Below you can see the rear of the store that is full of furniture, tables, sideboards and more. There aren’t unique and special bargains here. This is a basic Op Shop that sells basic stuff. Highly unlikely you’ll come across a ‘one-off’ special Eames chair here.
There are plenty of items for kids as well with the clothing rack spilling over with colourful kiddy ware. Plus the toys were plentiful and I would let your children explore this in their own time because they are some of the best at finding treasure.
Despite the size of this place, it was fairly easy for me to navigate my way around and as I always know what I’m looking for, I tend to head straight for those items rather than look at say….glassware.
I’m sure this means I miss out on a lot of great items but I visit so many Op Shops, Secondhand Stores and Markets I’m on a mission for just what I want. As with many of these faith-based Op Shops, money goes back into the community and to causes that they support.
