This tiny little Op Shop in MacLeod hasn’t been open long but does need some love and care. There is another Op Shop further down which is larger, lighter, brighter and more organised which really puts this one to shame.
Which is a little sad because their cause dedicated to supporting the local community through the provision of services that meet the short-term needs of people, producing long-term results is worthwhile.
The Op Shop is a way for BANSIC to fund its operations, and can also be a valuable resource for our Emergency Relief activities. These days, this is in high demand.
The staff are lovely and can help you’re after anything in particular. And of course, they always like a chat and a hello.
These are called knitting needles kiddies – yes, once upon a time we used to knit our own jumpers and socks.
There are lots of books and VCR / DVD / CD’s available at the rear but it’s messy and not sorted so I gave up in the end.
And then I find this little bit of shelving with a complete hotch potch of items that have no real connection with each other but seemed to have been just put there because they really don’t have a home.
